Wayne Scott is one of those 'old-fashioned' guys who takes pride in his work. He's been that way since the day he started as a panelbeating apprentice for his uncle back in the 1980's. And as his own business has grown from a single mobile van into a multi-site operation at Portage Road, New Lynn, Wayne has maintained that same level of care for clients, staff and the environment. In partnership with his wife Paula, Wayne and the entire team bring a passion and genuine enthusiasm for the industry. And rather than rest on their award-winning laurels, they keep evolving and growing to meet the ongoing demands of customers, suppliers and partners.

Then it's a matter of picking the people with the right attitude - those who set an exceptionally high standard for themselves, those who believe that 100% right is the only option. The same standards apply to the refinishing department, where our team are approved and qualified PPG handlers and applicators who have the expertise to a deliver a PPG Refinish Guarantee. On top of all that, Wayne and Paula have put in place a process that requires staff to upskill annually - taking the latest industry recognised courses and seminars, so we're always up-to-date with the most recent techniques and technology.

At Wayne Scott Panelbeating and Spraypainting we bring 25 years experience using the latest techniques and equipment, and our expert staff ensure each vehicle is returned to its pre-accident condition.

We constantly invest in the very latest panelbeating technology - such as state-of-the-art Car O Liner 3D Chassis Aligning Equipment and a Car O Liner Spot Welder that allows the repair of a vehicle to its original condition. Likewise PPG monthly monitoring ensures optimum cycle times. 

Operating over separate neighbouring sites also allows Wayne and the team to complete each part of the repair job in a fully dedicated space - for example the body repair team are set up in a panel workshop and when their work is done, the vehicle can be finished off at the specialist refinishing facility. This lean process produces more efficient cycle times, and faster, more cost-effective repairs.
